5 Years

Today exactly 5 years ago I married the man of my dreams! I really can not believe that it has been that long. I know everyone says that, but really it has been the most fun and beautiful years that a woman could ask for. Matt I can not tell you enough how happy and blessed that I have you. Thank you and I love you so very much! I can't wait to spend another 100 years together.

VACATION

CHUCK E. CHEESE

This past Sunday we celebrated my nephews Taylor 3rd birthday at chuck e. cheese. We had a blast! Jack loved the rides and seeing all the kiddos run around. Happy Birthday Taylor! Here are a few pictures of Jack loving Chuck E. Cheese.

Beach Ideas?

In less than one month we will be leaving for the beach, Santa Rosa Beach Florida to be exact. I really can't wait, I feel like I am counting down the days and making all kinds of lists. We are taking Jack on his first REAL vacation. I am also getting to go with two of my best friends and their families. But really why I am here is to ask you guys ideas and what you do when taking little ones to the beach. See, the kiddos will all be under the age of two. I will love some feed back with ideas. Please!!!

Happy Easter

I hope everyone had a great Easter. We enjoyed being with our family down in Gilbert. I was so excited about this year with Jack old enough to hunt Easter eggs, we even practiced alot, but the stupid rain had to ruin it for us this year. We still had an Easter egg hunt but it was inside Moosie and Papa cabin. Here are a few new pictures of Jack in his Easter outfit.

It's been awhile

I know I am a real big slacker! I really do have an excuse this time. I have been sick. I have been to the ER, blood work after blood work, an radioactive test and everything else under the sun. I started noticing my heart skipping beats everyone once in a while and then last Friday is when it hit me like o ton of bricks. I called Matt to come home and help me with little man and maybe I could lay down for a little while to see if that would help relieve some pressure on my back. Well finally Saturday after laying in bed all day and running 102 fever Matt finally said we had to go to the ER. While waiting 3 hours to see a doctor the conclusion was a severe kidney infection and a thyroid problem. So now after all kinds of testing I am on meds to hopefully fix the problem. If anyone out there has had thyroid problem please help! This is no fun (except the loosing weight part) and I need support from someone who has had issues with this before.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK!

JACK MAGNESS is one! Wow a year already, i just can't believe it. Yesterday was Jacks 1st birthday and we had a wonderful party for him. We had friends and family here for the special day. For me it was hard. I just can't believe that my little man is growing up so fast. Jack, thank you for the best year of my life and I can't wait for many more. I love you and happy birthday turkey!!

GO AWAY!!

I know a lot of you out there have had to stomach but, but geezz this has been here for a week now in the Magness house. It all started late Sunday night with Jack and I. So Matt stayed home on Monday to help me with Jack and take care of me. I get much better and Matt comes down with it. It is now Friday and Matt and I feel much better but poor Jack he just can not beet this stupid bug. Do you know how hard it is to help a baby throw-up. Well if you have not got this bug, I hope and pray you don't because it is MEAN!!!! I hope you all have a great weekend.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

So this past weekend we had our friends Christmas party and it was fabulous! This year we decided to mix it up and do an ugly Christmas sweater party. Turned out that everyone really got into it. All of our friends would say "do you have your sweater yet" in any conversation. We really had a great time and laughed so hard. I have to say the guys we just great in all the women's sweater that came up to there belly buttons. Here are a few to share with you.

1st hair cut

Today Jack got his first big boy hair cut. Mommy has been putting it off and putting it off. On the way to the salon he decided to take a nap and continued through out the hair cut. Here is a picture before

LIL' ELEPHANT

For Jacks first Halloween he was an elephant. I found the costume in August in the magazine Chasing Fireflies and I just had to have it. So it seemed like forever that we have had it. I never thought he would do so well and keep the ears on but he really did. These pictures were taken at uncle Danno and aunt Pittie's office.

Great News!!!

Great news everyone, my parents finally sold their house and they are moving to HARRISON!!!! I really don't know who is more excited my parents or myself. My parents house has been on the market since December and it finally sold. So it has been rather crazy looking at houses all over again and trying to get things in order here. They have to be out of their home on the 17th of this month and moved up here!! Have I told you how excited I am!! Anyways they have found a house and are able to get in it right away. Next thing is, how beautiful are all the fall colors in the leaves and all around. Last week I took Jack out and took a few fall pictures and they really turned out cute. Here are just a few.

SIMPLEY THE BEST!

I have always been a HUGE Tina Turner fan, and last Wednesday I got to see her LIVE!! It was amazing. Josh,Ashley,Matt and I headed to Kansas City on Wednesday. On the way up there no one was really all that excited like I was. Once we got to the hotel, we didn't have much time to do anything but get ready and go. So me, all grins all day, headed to the Sprint center. It was a 2 hour show of just HER! She danced in 4 inch heels the whole time, amazing! Tina was wonderful and so were her back up dancers. I did not take my camera but Matt took some pictures on his phone but they did not turn out very good! Thanks Ashley for wonderful seats and thanks to the guys for putting up with me singing Tina and talking about it the weeks.

Fun weekend

Hey everyone, I know it has been a while(thanks Haley for the reminder) but it is so hard to compete with all of Haley's fun blogs! Well we went to Benton on Thurday to see Kacey(college roommate), Blake and Ava. While we were there we had a shower for our great friend Erin. It was a success! We pulled it of and we think everyone really enjoyed it. It was so nice to spend so time with the girls just laughing and caring on. The boys went and played golf and we spent the day running around and getting everything we needed for the shower. Jack and Ava, which is about 2 months older, had a great time playing together. MOTHER DAY OUT

Today was Jacks first day back at mothers day out and I just thought I would show everyone a picture before we left. Notice the HUGE bruise on the forehead. He has had this for a while now and when one clears up, it see that he hits the same spot again. Hope everyone has a great week and I will post again after this weekend.
